I am a lawyer turned boozy baker!
I’ve always had a passion to bake and create great tasting desserts. My main goal is to provide sweet lovers with a unique dessert experience when ordering one of my gourmet products with the added boozy kick.
What started out years ago as baking favors for friends and family has developed into my dream business. The inspiration for my niche of using alcohol was my mother’s alcohol infused fruit cakes she used to make and sell during my childhood. Using that inspiration has allowed me to develop many cake and cupcake flavors using premium and top shelf liquors.
Providing a quality, tasteful and well presented product is my company mission.
After 20 years as a criminal attorney, I decided to make my passion for baking my full-time business and I began that transition in 2014. I now use my talents as a baker, artist and a cook to create wonderful tasting and beautifully created desserts that adults can indulge in.

Owner of Delights by Dawn™Delights by Dawn believes in the quality of good desserts. As people do not have the time to bake and even learn to bake, Delights by Dawn provides quality, home made desserts like those form mom, or grandma. However, I decided to spice it up a bit and make them with a touch of adulthood. Our specialty cakes and cupcakes have real liquor in them to add something a little different, a little special and a little something to warm the soul!!! ~ DAWN B.
